  3. PREPARATION FOR A SEMINEAR- Dr. Chin Ho Lin, Department of Life Science, Chung Hsing University 1a.Selection of a Seminar Topic Some topic of unacquaintance, deserve to explore.

  4. 1b.Some topic of master knowledge, and with good organization. Also oral examination proposal, annual report, briefing.

  6. 2.Search of Reference Annual review. Computer search via library Copy from journal etc.

  7. 3a.Organization and Layout Slide or overhead transparency arrangement, sequence 媒體太花俏diffuse主題 主題字VS.

  8. 3b. Preparation of slide 13 letters/ line 5 lines/ page No raw data Digested data or Figure

  9. 4a.Rehersal Set time period Clearity of slide detail Ask friend or advisor as audience for “dry run”

  10. 4bFind an experienced audience who does not know the topic (make sure he or she knows what you are talking)

  25. 8c. Do not afraid question – by means of well prepared. In case of unprepared question – I do not have a direct answer, but I do know…..

  26. 8e.Continue talking until you are asked to stop. Try to bring to the area that you master.

  28. 8g. Make sure of the question by (1)ask again to be sure what was ask (2) to gain time and search for answer (3) to gain time and organizegood answer

  31. 9b.To answer a bad question – The answer could be as stupid as the question.

  32. 9c.Do not respond to a stupid question – Do it skillfully There may be series of question (1) trap you on the target spot first (2) then fire on you

  33. 9d.Try to avoid drop into the trap, best way is to screen the question.
