  3. Appearance • You find toucans in the amazon. • Toucans are the most poupular birds in the amazon rain forest. • It has a live span of twenty years. • There are about fourty types of toucans. • Toucans beaks can grow up to seven to nine inces long.

  4. habitat Toucans are non-migratory birds and seldom fly far. Although, some species of the toucans tend to live alone, most live in pairs or flocks of six.

  5. Diet Toucan’s eat fruit, small lizards and insects. Insects are they only diet. They also plunder nests of small birds taking eggs and nesting.

  6. Other species This is a blue banded toucanet. It is green but you would think it it blue.

  7. Intresting facts. The toucans are related to Woodpeckers. They sleep in tree holows. They have big claws to balance on tree branches. And they have big long colourful beaks.
