Quantification of HeLa Apoptotic Cells in Response to Taxol, CoQ, and Zn2+ Treatment

This study investigates the effects of Taxol, Coenzyme Q (CoQ), and Zinc ions (Zn2+) on apoptotic HeLa cells over various time points (0, 24, 48, and 72 hours). Using LDH release assays alongside quantification of attached apoptotic cells, we measured cell numbers at each time point to assess cytotoxic effects. Control conditions were also evaluated to delineate the specific impacts of the treatments. Results provide insights into the apoptotic process and potential therapeutic strategies.
