Grading • Summative - 70% (Approx 2-3 per quarter) • Formatives – 15% • Homework – 5% • Classwork/Participation – 5% • Group Challenges – 5%
Homework… • Monday – Friday • Approximately 30 minutes per night • Use online HW Hints as support tool • Announced daily • On whiteboard • On Twitter • On homework hotline (online)
Assessments • Periodic quizzes, tests, entrance slips, & exit slips • Retake summatives with a score less than 70% • Can only receive up to a 70% on a retake
Available Help • Math Intervention during recess • Formatives will be used to determine who attends Math Intervention • Don’t have to be assigned to attend • Before school media center • After school media center • ARC • ASK QUESTIONS IN CLASS and PARTICIPATE!!!!!!!!!!! Extra Help
