This project shares insights from students at Bar-Lev Junior High School in Kfar Saba, Israel. Serving as a bridge to understand Israeli culture, the students' correspondence reveals the uniqueness of Israel, a small but diverse nation in the Middle East. The report highlights Israel's democratic values, rich history, and the variety of religious affiliations among its inhabitants. Despite geographical challenges, the country's vibrant culture and heritage continue to thrive. Join us in exploring this rich narrative shaped by youth perspectives on life in Israel.

It is mentioned for the first time in the writings of Josephus, in his account of the attempt of Alexander Jannaeus to halt an invasion from the North led by Antiochus (Antiquities, book 13, chapter 15). Kfar Saba also appears in the Talmud in connection to corn tithing and the Capharsaba sycamore fig tree. The settlement was likely named after a person called Saba, though this person's importance is not known.

  21. CONCLUSION The culture of a country like Israel, fascinated us, and we have learned much from our correspondents, although only Michal replied to all mails. We conclude, then, that the culture of Israel is not very different from ours, just changing our religion, despite the existing confrontations Israel can keep their culture alive.
