  2. H2020 Design Study FCC : 100km Circular (pp, ee, ep) collider FCC DS is huge a WP with EC funding and WP without EC funding a number of partners for H2020 part should be limited

  3. FCC : 100km Circular (pp, ee, ep) collider Management Projet Management , Global collaboration issues, Projet Costing, CD&O… Arc Design, lattice, magnet aperture. Electron cloud Beam pipe design, coating … Hadron Collider design Lattice & IR Design, beam-beam int. collimation, shielding quad protection, MDI … Vaccuum system: chambers, beam screening, heat extraction… Lepton Collider design? Lattice & IR Design, momemtum acceptance … Proposal should be submitted September 2nd , 2014

CEPC+SppC • For about 8 years, we have been talking about “What can be done after BEPCII in China” • Thanks to the discovery of the low mass Higgs boson, and stimulated by ideas of Circular Higgs Factories in the world, CEPC+SppC configuration was proposed in Sep. 2012 A 50-70 km tunnel is veryaffordable in China NOW Slides fromYifang Wang (IHEP director)

Etudes conjointes IHEP/Tsinghua- Saclay Fort souhait des physiciens IHEP et Tsinghua(CEPC) de collaborer avec Saclay Il est aussi de notre intérêt de collaborer avec eux pour suivre les développements de CEPC et éventuellement de faire des études conjointes Nous avons fait une demande de financement (modeste) dans le cadre du FCPPL pour explorer la mise en œuvre d’une telle collaboration i.e. faire quelques voyages exploratoires dans les 2 sens • Après discussions lors de la réunion FCPPL, nous avons convenu • Etudes de physique communes (à définir précisément) • R&D communes sur la TPC • accueil de thésard …
