Aims of Session • This session aims to: • Provide an opportunity to hear from an experienced Web manager about “what he wish he’d known when he started!” • Explain what IWMW event is about to those who have not attended previous events • Summarise the services provided by the ISC at UKOLN and by JISC of relevance to Web managers • Speakers: • Brian Kelly, Mike Nolan (Edge Hill University) and Amber Thomas (JISC)

  14. The IWMW CoP • ~136 plenary speakers at IWMW events. • Apart from organisers most have spoken once. 1 2 3 4 ~190 workshop facilitators at IWMW events. Majority have facilitated a single session 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 There has been ~100 hours of plenary talks and 380+ hours of parallel sessions for over 2,500 delegates at 16 IWMW events.

  25. Conclusions • To conclude: • UKOLN ISC supported the developments of the Web management Community of Practice • Is delivering additional content and support through its JISC funding • But what else does JISC do?
