TeraGrid Groups • Resource Providers (RP): the institutions that provide the computing, storage, and visualization resources of the TeraGrid • Grid Infrastructure Group (GIG): central planning, reporting, coordination, facilitation, and management group for the TeraGrid • Working Groups (WG): Each working group includes a GIG Area Director and representatives from each RP and focuses on a specific TeraGrid issue TeraGrid Annual Review

Communications • TeraGrid Round Table Meeting • One hour every two weeks for members of all TeraGrid groups via Access Grid and conference call • Presentations from Working Groups, Resource Providers, or others with information of general interest across the TeraGrid • GIG Area Director Calls • One and one-half hour every week for GIG administration and Area Directors • Coordination of GIG activities • Working Group Calls • Periodic calls conducted by each Working Group to coordinate the Working Group activities TeraGrid Annual Review

Communications • TeraGrid Quarterly Management Meetings • Two day meeting in March, June, September, and December for GIG and Forum administration, Area Directors, and Resource Provider Primary Investigators • Coordination of activities across GIG and RPs. Annual and quarterly planning and reporting. • Quarterly Allocation Meetings • Two day meeting in March, June, September, and December for Resource Allocation Committee members • Review and decide on TeraGrid resource allocation proposals received through the POPS system TeraGrid Annual Review

Communications • TeraGrid Yearly Meeting (TGxx) • Five day meeting each June open to the scientific community • Showcase the capabilities, achievements, and impact of TeraGrid in research and education through presented papers, demonstrations, posters, and visualizations • Science Advisory Board Meeting • Two day meeting each January of TeraGrid and research community representatives • Review TeraGrid accomplishments and plans to obtain feedback from the scientific community TeraGrid Annual Review

  7. Reporting • Integrated Program Plan (IPP): primary output of the yearly TeraGrid planning process that documents the objectives, budget, and activities for the next project year for the GIG and the RPs • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): part of the IPP that lists milestones and resources for all planned TeraGrid activities • Quarterly Reports: report by Area of TeraGrid activities during the previous quarter (1, 2, and 3) of the calendar year • Annual Report: comprehensive report of TeraGrid activities during the previous calendar year and IPP for the next project year TeraGrid Annual Review
