Situation at present • SEVESO II implementation in progress • Increasing interest of population in accident prevention • Sources smaller than SEVESO II are also significant • Impact on environment evaluations missing • Evaluations of dangerous substances transport accidents missing RESULT: Complex accidents evaluation necessary

Project objectives • Complex accidents evaluation in the area • of F-M district • Emergency planning zones specifying • External operation plans processing • Information for population and experts in the emergency planning zones • Easy-to-reach and easy-to-update GIS data as a decision making support

  6. Data sources for project processing • Operator’s declaration – classification as A or B or unclassified • Safety documentations, safety reports • GIS and GPS map data sources • Environmental information • Transport routes monitoring • Land use planning information
