  1. Early childhood Partnership Monika Chaimovitch ,the teacher of “Drorim” preschool in Akko Israel , Tzipi the assistant and the children, bake “Cahlla” for “Kabalath Sabbath” every week. When they heard that you also have “Kabalath Sabbath”, they took pictures of the procedure and they want to share it with you. Editor: Efrat Srebro

  2. First of all we arranged all the ingredient for the Challa: oil, water, salt, sugar eggs, yeast and flower .

  3. Zohar poured the flower into the bowl

  4. Orian is pouring water

  5. Eliran added the salt

  6. Ofek added the yeast

  7. Shai added the egg

  8. Nethanel and Dorin kneaded the ingredients until it became dough

  9. Bar and Maya covered the bowl with a plastic bag , put a towel on the bowl and all of us waited for the dough to swell.

  10. This is our dough

  11. Each child got a piece of dough and made his own shape of “Chala”

  12. As we had the first rain in Israel this week, we saw the snail and some of us made the Challa in the shape of a snail

  13. Ilai and Shaked arranged the Challa dough in the oven tray

  14. Eden brushed the dough with eggs

  15. This is the final product: “Beteavon”! The taste is great!
