  5. Murder of Riccio • David Riccio was Mary’s advisor • Her husband became extremely jealous • Protestant Lords convinced Darnley to sign a death Warrant • A gang rushed into Mary’s Chamber • Stabbed him repeatedly in front of Mary until he was dead. • Mary hated Darnley even more.
