Why we have a critical spirit • To make ourselves look better – It helps us “deflect” our own guilt by thinking about someone else’s. • To take secret revenge on someone whom we are bitter at for other reasons. • Failure to Forgive • Envy/Competition • Because we don’t see or don’t care about the big picture of someone else’s relationship to God.

  40. Devouring each other (Galatians 5:15) “If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other."
