Opposite Day. By Mr. Sack. On opposite day, I wake up and go to sleep. for the rest of the night, when the sun shines bright. Then I go to school in my room. Not a single rule – don’t have to sweep my broom.

  1. Opposite Day By Mr. Sack

  2. On opposite day, I wake up and go to sleep

  3. for the rest of the night, when the sun shines bright

  4. Then I go to school in my room

  5. Not a single rule – don’t have to sweep my broom

  6. And anyway – when it’s time to clean I spread germs on opposite day

  7. On opposite day, children teach the teachers how to be silly

  8. And go swimming when it’s chilly

  9. Then I watch commercials and skip the shows

  10. I walk on my hands and eat with my toes

  11. And then I play – with bills and forms and junk mail on opposite day!

  12. On opposite day, my dog walks meInside my house

  13. Where the cat has tea with the mouse

  14. Then I watch the birds crawl on the ground

  15. While the earthworms fly all around

  16. What can I say – everything is so weirdOn opposite day!

  17. On opposite day we walk on the ceilingand reach for the floor

  18. To buy socks at the toy store

  19. And I pay for the socks with my toys

  20. Then at the library I make a lot of noise!

  21. At the end of the day: Can’t wait for yesterday on opposite day!
