  1. Basic Lawn Care Tips Of A Lawn Supplier As far as general maintenance of your lawn is concerned, experts say that if done regularly, it is nothing like a rocket science. You just have to do the following.

  2. WATERING • Summer watering strategy is completely different from those adopted for watering in the spring and fall in terms of frequency and quantity. • The time-frame has to be adjusted accordingly. • Early morning watering is the best you can do according to turf suppliers, as you’ll avoid the accumulated moisture of the turf. • This moisture is not good for the turf as it can cause diseases faster than usual. • Avoid watering during noon time and afternoon too. • During summers, water it rigorously and until the first six inches beneath the grass is wet. This will give the much-needed nutrition to the roots.

  3. SUMMER FERTILIZATION • Avoid putting these fertilizers when the outdoor temperature is at its peak. • According to turf suppliers, these chemicals contain nitrogen that provides nutrition, but in intense heat, it’ll act adversely and burn your turf. • Always prefer buying fertilizers from your turf supplier and pick the one that has least nitrogen in its composition. • You can afford to provide less nutrition through them and compensate it with natural fertilizers, but you cannot afford to burn your grass. • Try and apply fertilizers, only during the nighttime or evening, when the temperature is low.
