History of Site • Site was developed around 1966 as a park and amusement center containing a club house, tennis courts and swimming pools. • Club fell into disuse as membership declined • Property was for sale for many years with no buyers • Property’s last use was as a rental for banquets, parties, and other events

  5. History of Site • Property was foreclosed on multiple times • Surrounding property values negatively impacted due to decay of facility • Site purchased by NBKW, LLC in 2013 • NBKW secured property, covered pools and mitigated other hazards • Zoning request submitted to City May, 2014
