  2. ULSTER SPORTS OUTREACH UNIT University Sports Outreach (USO) is a strategic initiative of the Ulster Sports Academy. • USO is based in the School of Sports Studies. It is led by professionals in the area of physical education and sports development. • USO facilitates public engagement with a variety of internal and external partners to provide sport and physical activity programmes to children and young people, particularly those at greatest disadvantage.

  5. USO PROGRAMMES • USO Primary Schools Programme 100 schools; 8000 pupils; 500 teachers, 14 students annually • Widening Access Sports Scholarship Scheme 3 years, 300 schools, 3,000 pupils, 150 teacher, 86 students
