  2. Aims and Objectives • To combine professional Sports Coaching, in your chosen sport, with a quality Post 16 Education. • To encourage students to access Post 16 Education. • To create dynamic and vibrant sports leaders

New Academy Structure • Rugby and Football Academy students will receive 16 hours of quality coaching and fitness conditioning over a 2 week timetable. • Structured, consistent and accessible timetables for all academy students. • Increased opportunity of Academic and Vocational qualifications to select from a wide range. • New Leadership opportunities with the Sporting Marvels

  4. Post 16 Qualifications • There are a wide range of Academic and Vocational courses on offer to all students. • Sport and PE Courses • BTEC First Diploma in Sport = 4 GCSE’s • BTEC First Diploma in Public Services and Leisure = 4 GCSE’s • BTEC National Award in Sport = 1 A Level’s • BTEC National Certificate in Sport = 2 A Level’s Please see the Tonypandy Community College Post 16 Prospectus for more information on courses available
