  2. Accredited by NBA and IE(I) • Received a grant of Rs. 8 lacs for IIP cell from AICTE. Project is under implementation. • Received a grant of Rs. 60,000/- for seminar grants from AICTE. A two day national seminar on non -conventional energy sources (RENERGY 2K11) was organized. • Motivated and committed mix of senior and young faculty members. • Excellent infrastructure facilities. • Well-equipped labs. • IIP & EDP Cell. • Free Internet facility for all faculty and students. • MOUs with IEG, Hyd. Nicco Ventures Ltd., Kolkata, Infosys, Hyd. • Digital Library; e-class room • Smart Campus System.

  3. The Department was established in the year 2004 with an intake of 60 students and the present intake is 120 students. • The department has nine faculty members. Among which one PhD and one is pursuing PhD ,and the rest all are postgraduates.

  4. HOD PROFILE NAME : Prof.K. SREENIVASULU M. Tech., M.I.S.T.E. EXPERIENCE : Industrial -30 years in public sector , joint venture, private sector and MNC’s. Teaching – 8years in reputed institutions. ABROAD TRAINING : Deputed by Govt. of India for advanced training at VNIMETMASH Institute, USSR ,for the design of equipment for shearing lines for 9 months PATENTS : 1) Design and Development of Side Discharge Wagon Tippler. 2) Electronic Weighing System for Rotary Wagon Tippler. * Both the machines are working for more than 30 years Contd….

  5. IMPORT SUBSTITUTION : During M. Tech dissertation imported paper for taking p-v diagram was substituted. PEER REVIEW : 1. paper entitled “experimental evaluation of a diesel engine with blends of diesel-plastic pyrolisis oil” for the Indian Journal of Science and Technology. 2. paper entitled “Effect of Fuel injection pressure on diesel engine performance and emission using blend of Mahua oils” for the Indian Journal of Science and Technology.
