  5. Designation Requirements • Three Core Courses • Fundamentals of Project Delivery • Principles of Design-Build Project Delivery • Design-Build Contract and Risk Management

  6. Additional Requirements • Approved Elective Courses 18 credit hours • Experience and Education Requirement • Three References • Successful completion of Designation Exam

  7. Required Experience • 3 years Documented D/B Experience OR • Masters degree in a concentrated Design-Build University Program and 2 years of Documented D/B Experience

  8. Education and Experience Requirements • Baccalaureate degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management and three years of experience OR • 6 Years Experience without a Degree

  9. Maintaining Designation • Renewal Every Two Years • 24 Contact Hours of Approved, Elective Credit • Renewal Fee

  10. What’s on the Exam • 100 Multiple Choice Questions • Eight Domain Areas • General Attributes • Project Delivery • Team Organization • Ethics/Professionalism • Procurement • Estimating and Specs • Contracts and Legal • Project Management

  11. What Does it Cost? • Application Fee ($95 - $370) - Varies depending on “Fundamentals” Option Chosen • Applicable Course Fees • Designation Exam Fee - $350/sitting • Renewal (every 2 years) - $50 (members)
