Students interested in taking the PSAT test must bring $20 to the counseling office by October 6th. This national test, offered once a year in October, can qualify juniors for a national merit scholarship. Freshmen can gain valuable practice for future tests. The PSAT will be held on October 15th. Additionally, BSSHS welcomes Lee’s Summit North for the homecoming game on October 10th, with the dance themed “There’s No Place Like Homecoming” on the 11th. Homecoming guest passes are available, due by October 2nd. "Better Together" shirts can be purchased for $5 in the lunchroom starting September 29th.

F.C. Announcements • Students interested in taking the PSAT test should bring $20 to the counseling office by October 6th to sign up. The PSAT is a national test that is given once a year in October. During your junior year the PSAT test score could qualify you for a national merit scholarship. Freshman aren’t eligible for the scholarship but the test is good practice for later when it does count. The test will be given on October 15th, see Mr. Schur if you need more information.
BSSHS Announcements South will host Lee’s Summit North in our homecoming game on Friday October 10th. Homecoming dance will be on the 11th. The theme for the dance is “There’s No Place Like Homecoming”. Spirit day information will be available soon.
BSSHS Announcements South homecoming guest passes are now available from the front office. There is one guest per student, that student must be in high school, or had graduated in 2014. The passes are due by the end of the day, Thursday October 2nd.
