  2. F.C. Announcements • Teachers and parents please be aware that we do have walkers, bike riders, etc. Please slow down when you are approaching the school. If you are a walker or a bike rider, please use reflective wear or use a flash light.

  4. F.C. Announcements • The BSSD CoderDojois a coding club for area young people aged 4–17. Our dojo is led by district and community volunteers with a passion for computer programming and computer technology. • The CoderDojo movement emphasizes self-motivated learning through project work, peer-to-peer mentoring and the creation of innovative projects. • Come play with us! • For more information, including how to sign up, please visit our website at http://www.tinyurl.com/coderdojobssd. • The BSSD CoderDojo meets at Blue Springs South High School from 9-11am, usually on the 4th Saturday of the month.

  5. F.C. Announcements Kennedy’s Custom Jewelers announces their 5th annual Gingerbread House competition. All students have the opportunity to participate in a K-12 district wide competition with a chance to win a $1,000 a scholarship. Come by the front office to pick up information.

  6. F.C. Announcements • Discover your world and explore new cultures or your own through dance, film, literature, music, photography or visual arts. Ne experience is required to participate in REFLECTIONS! Choose the arts category you’re interested in, create an original piece of artwork based on the theme: “The world would be a better place if…” and be recognized as an artist in your community. • Pick up a PTA Reflections Entry Form today from the front office and return by Wednesday, November 5, 2014. • Students are not limited; you may submit an entry in more than one category or submit multiple entries in the same.

  7. BSHS Announcements Boys and girls interested in trying out for Blue Springs Wildcats Basketball this season, there will be a short informational meeting on Thursday, October 23 at 6:45 am in the big gym.  You will receive information about tryouts, etc.

BSSHS Announcements BSSHS Baseball:  Any Freshman student who is interested in playing baseball for Blue Springs South next spring, there will be a quick meeting on Wednesday, 10/29 at 6:50 am in the main gym at the FC.  Off-season workouts will be discussed. Be on time.  Questions—contact Coach Baier at South.
