  1. Plan for folder cover: Objective: You will use planning in order to create a layout for your folder design. DRILL: Make sure you have your manilla folder and a pencil.   2. Variety of layouts:Include- border, circle, ART, your name

  3. Border- goes around the edge of your artwork.

  4. Mandala- art in a circle

  5. Typography- Artful lettering- using words/ letters in art. R A T G R A G A U E

  8. Grade: • Has a border. • Says ART. • Says your name. • Has a circle. • Whole cover filled with art. • Creativity- Individual look. • Craftsmanship – neatness • Difficulty- detail • Focus- effort • Composition- layout, placement.

  9. Wednesday: (jury duty) • Diagnostic test to see where everyone’s art skills are- Drawing, creativity, knowledge, ideas. • 100 pt test grade to complete every portion. • NOT GRADED ON SKILL. • Extra points will be awarded for extra effort. SUBSTITUTE: Must do classwork! Be respectful and nice! Whisper when talking. Turn in work at end of class.
