Aim of the Meeting Thursday 6th, Jan 2011 Initiating a military solidarity project. Discuss the possibility to establish a continental development center with the support of the CISM. Embody mechanisms for work actions between members of the continent. Take recommendations and proposals filed by the members for BOD meeting approval. Accrediting the shoot gun competition. Activating the liaison officers by nominating authorized personnel for BOD meeting approval. Commencing a liaison office in Brussels. (Iran, Bahrain, Syria, India). Korean delegation presentation. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 The first session started by the CISM President welcome address. The President began by thanking His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa King of Bahrain, the Supreme Commander of the BDF and commended the efforts of Bahrain Defence Force to advance the wheel of the Asian continent forward. Then spoke about his responsibilities and his international CISM vision that will not be achieved, without the advancement of military sports in this continent. He also touched on the necessity of preserving the CISM’s identity by involving the largest possible number of countries by military solidarity and by broadcasting the CISM’s principle "friendship through sport." Wednesday, January 5, 2011 The CISM Secretary-General urged the importance of military sports solidarity and highlighted the participation of the biggest possible number of countries in the CISM day run. He also reviewed the calendar for 2011. The Secretary-General expressed his sincere thanks to the participating delegations in this meeting and offered his support for all Asian members and stated that member can contact him personally if the need arises Secretary-General
Wednesday, January 5, 2011 The Secretary General of the Bahrain Military Sports Association welcomed the delegations, wishing all a pleasant stay. He also thanked officials of the Bahrain Defence Force for their support for the CISM by hosting this meeting he also offered his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the CISM President and the Secretary-General for attending this historic meeting, which is convened for the first time. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 The head of the continent hailed the delegations for the outstanding attendance, wishing all a pleasant stay. He then thanked Bahrain Defence Force officials for their support for the CISM by hosting this meeting. He also offered his sincere thanks to His Excellency the CISM President and the Secretary General for attending this historic meeting, which is convened for the first time. Thursday, January 6, 2011 Iranian delegation presented statistics of Asian participating countries from 1988 to 2008. The numbers reflected the lack of participation of Asian members in all competitions. He also said that the main reason behind this is the lack of effective communication and the limited financial and technical possibilities for some members. He then proposed a strategy for the coming period, including the distribution of the continent into four sections, and persuaded the activation of the liaison officers. Thursday, January 6, 2011 The delegation of South Korean presented a lecture on the next General Assembly, Seoul to be held in May 2011. Then Col. Kim presented the preparations to host the World Military Games 2015. All members expressed their admiration of the organization and preparedness.South Korea delegation stated that officials in his country had allocated a special budget for the next phase for CISM activities, and expressed his readiness to provide necessary support. Through the next General Assembly elections in South Korea, the South Korean delegation requested to be a Board of Director member of the continent, attendees has welcomed the request. South Korea delegation proposed to host the championships for the upcoming two years 2013 and 2014 in preparation to host the WMG 2015. Thursday, January 6, 2011 Lt. Col. AbdulHakimAlShino, CISM Asia Vice President presented the agenda, and then began his lecture by urging the use of CISM as a tool to broadcast peace across the continent and to reduce the hatred between individuals. Then, the Asia V.P. proposed the establishment of a project to support the CISM activities in the continent and to help poor countries through this project. The project is a four-star hotel in which members contribute the amount of ten thousand dollars. Whereas, the donor of a piece of land for the hotel will have full profits of the entire project after eight years. lectures

Additionally, the delegation proposed The Kingdom of Bahrain as president for this federation. Some expressed support for the proposal while others did not comment on this issue. All delegations expressed their gratitude for the initiative of Syria and the president expressed sincere gratitude to Syria. The Council agreed unanimously to join the State of Palestine as a member of the continent and recommended to forward the decision to the General Assembly in South Korea to approve the membership of the Palestine in the International Council of Military Sports Resolutions
Thursday, January 6, 2011 Resolution No. 2 / 2011 (Liaison Centers). All attendees agreed to give the centers a last chance until the General Assembly in Korea to identify the liaison officers contacts and show their willingness to activate it. Thursday, January 6, 2011 Chairman of the meeting recommended a thorough study of the strategy presented by the Iranian delegation until it is approved, to move forward with it. In honor of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Chairman recommended to present a request to the Iranian officials to give Colonel Amiri a chance to serve at the CISM headquarters in Brussels because the President and the member countries are convinced of the efficiency of the said Colonel to serve the continent. Thursday, January 6, 2011 The President of the continent and the present members recommended that the Delegation of Kazakhstan would make a study of the possibility of setting up a military Asian football championship and to submit that study at the next meeting in South Korea. President of the Council recommended that members examine the possibility to provide military transport to the brothers in Kazakhstan and respond as quickly as possible to raise the recommendation to the Solidarity Committee of the Council. Thursday, January 6, 2011 The Chairman recommended that members give the opportunity to qualified officers to represent their countries in the CISM and address their officials so that the names are presented in the stage before the end of next March. The Council recommended a solidarity investment project to support the CISM activities in the continent (CISM Hotel). The project is to be presented to officials and decision makers to illustrate the esteemed goals and provide what is necessary at the next meeting in Korea . The Board recommended sending meeting minutes to the continent's armed forces officials to get acquainted with each proposals and decisions. . Recommendations
