Transitions • This next slide will show you how we determined that the two compounds were incompatible. • Next we will see why the gene was not considered to be a candidate. • As you will see, the results indicated that our suspicions were correct. • Although we had expected a sudden decrease, the data you will see on this next slide presented us with a surprisingly different trend. • In this next slide I will show you how we discovered the most important candidate so far in our search for the responsible protein.
