Word Problems – Copy the problems in your notebook and solve! • 1. Dana has 23 books. Ahmed has 15 books. Maryam has 12 books. How many books do they have all together? • 2. How many more books does Dana have than Maryam? • 3. Miss Norma made a new library! If all three students decide to donate their books to the school library, and Miss Norma wants 65 books, how many more books does she need?
Answers: • 1. 23 + 15 + 12 = 50 books • 2. 23 – 12 = 11 books • 3. 65 – 50 = 15 books
