3. Language And Literacy Development Language is one of the most important areas of development that sets us apart and it unites us with each other. In our preschool curriculum language focuses on the verbal aspects of communication: listening, speaking and interpreting non-verbal cues to communication. While literacy refers to the reading and writing skills that allows children to communicate with the world around them, enjoy fables, poems, learn and grow. The focus is on developing language as well as literacy skills. Children are provided with opportunities to participate in conversations, ask questions, express themselves and use their reading skills to make meaning from the printed words.

5. Reasoning Development: The Cognitive Approach Teaching “What” is important but “Why” of it is more important. Young minds observe with curiosity and surely want to explore cause and effect relationships so that they can apply this knowledge to new context. We integrate learning with life lessons, through the use of themes. Theme teaching enhances concept development because it integrates learning from many different areas simultaneously.

6. Creative Development Every human being has inherent talent in one form or the other. Be it singing, dancing, music, painting, reciting or a scientific temperament. We encourage our kids to participate in extracurricular activities. Visual Arts – The medium of art helps development of kids in all the domains – cognitive, language, physical, social and emotional. Art is a natural vehicle for children to express their feelings. They reflect their thoughts and emotions through their choices of colour, texture and images.

7. Physical Development “A Healthy Body Has Healthy Mind” said our forefathers. Along with intellectual development we also pay attention to physical well being of our tiny tots. We encourage them to participate in group activities and games which require a bit of physical strength. This will develop their muscles and make them strong physically and healthy. Such activities are important for the development of emotional, social, inter personal, language, team work and thinking skills. The eye and foot coordination activities lead to overall development.
