  2. Prepare • Browse the newspaper for an interesting article • You can ask a parent or sibling for help • Find an interesting article and read it thoroughly • Use the guided outline to make sure you have all the info

  3. Practice • You should know the info well before you present • When you present to the class, it shouldn’t be the first time you are doing the presentation • Have someone at home or a friend listen to it first • Practice in the mirror

  4. Present • Make eye contact with your audience • Use inflection in your voice • Use hand motions to emphasize • Avoid: swaying, “ummm” “like” • Use a big voice • What else?
