  3. YOU MUST MEET A FEW REQUIREMENTS... • IN ORDER TO GET HERE IN 2017...

  4. YOU MUST COMPLETE AT LEAST 220 UNITS TO GRADUATE

  5. The Requirements are... • English (4 years) = 40 Units Total • Math (2 years) = 20 Units Total • Science (2 years) = 20 Units Total • Social Studies (3 years) = 30 Units Total • Visual/Performing Arts or Foreign Language (1 year) = 10 Units Total • Health = 5 Units Total • Electives = 75 Units Total • Grand Total = 220 Units

  6. If you receive an F in any course, You will have to repeat the course.

  7. In order to be eligible for UC or CSU schools, you will need to go beyond the High School Graduation Requirements....

  8. English (4 years) = 40 Units Math (3 years) = 30 Units Social Science (2 years) = 20 Units Laboratory Science (2 years) = 20 Units Language other than English (2 years) = 20 Units Visual and Performing Arts (1 year) = 10 Units College Preparatory Elective (1 year) = 10 Units Earn a GPA of 3.0 or better in these courses with no grade lower than a C Take ACT Plus Writing or the SAT Reasoning Test • UC/CSU Requirements

  9. Academic Scholar Diploma Seal • Students who take academically challenging courses and go beyond the minimum graduation requirements, can earn an Academic Scholar Diploma Seal.

  10. Academic Diploma Seal Requirements • 1) Cumulative GPA (non-weighted) of 3.5 or above from the beginning of the 9th grade year to the end of the first semester of your senior year. • 2) Completion of the minimum University of California (A-G) requirements for college admission • 3) Completion of 230 or more units

  11. Stay on track by monitoring your progress toward the graduation requirements in your Student Service Plan Folder.
