  3. Today in Reading: 8.1.06 Expand reading vocabulary.

  4. You will learn these words: • Appendage • Contaminate • Infectious • Keener • Mobility • Pervasive • Rehabilitation • Serendipitous

  5. Group Work: You and your partner will be assigned ONE vocabulary word to explore and then present to the class.

  6. Presentations: • Read the context sentence. Then tell us about your word. • Speak loudly so everyone can hear • You may want to take notes on the other words on the back of your paper as other pairs present.

  7. Example: lucky Serendipity- lucky accident -ous-full of lucky serendipitous Guarantied desk Lucky Chance Fortunate Accident The paint I accidentally dripped on my drawing caused me to win the prize.
