  3. Auditions Courses: Cheerleading, Drill Team, Jazz Band, Yearbook (8) After Spring auditions take place, we will change student course requests. Academic Support Courses: - Reading 7/8 “Read 180” /Guided Study/Math 180

  6. Enrollment timeline: 6th into 7th grade online enrollment February 4th (Forms handed out Jan. 29th) 7th into 8th grade online enrollment February 5th (Forms hand out Jan. 30th) Parents: Please have those filled out and signed- Thank You!!!!

  7. 21st Century Programs Olathe East- Design, Civic Leadership, Future Educators Olathe North- Animal health, Distinguished Scholars, Geosciences, Medical Professions, Sports medicine and Exercise Science Olathe Northwest- E. Communication and Engineering Olathe South- Computer Science, Business Finance, and Bioengineering Olathe West- Public safety: (Law enforcement or fire and rescue), Green technologies

Engineering Plan of Study Graduation RequirementsFreshman year (number of credits)English – Pre-AP English or English (1)Social Studies – Pre-AP Modern World History or Modern World History (1) is recommendedMath – Geometry or higher is recommended (1)Science – Biology or Honors Biology is recommended (1) 21st Century individual focus – A&E Fundamentals of Design (.5) and A&E Intro to Technology (.5)Practical and consumer studies – Credit earned in A&E CAD I and II during sophomore year (1)Fine Arts – Student choice (1)Applied communication or international language – International Language is required (1)*Technology – Credit earned in A&E Intro to Technology or Fundamentals of Design fulfills partial credit (.5)Health and Wellness – PE Health and Wellness (.75 PE and .25 health)
