  3. Sec. 28-110.  Maintenance. (a)   All signs and components thereof shall be maintained in good repair and with the proper structural supports as determined by the director of development services. All signs and their immediate surrounding area shall be kept free of weeds, trash and other refuse. The display surfaces of all signs shall be kept neatly painted or posted. (b)   The director of development services or his representative may remove any sign along with its structural supports that violates the standard provided herein, if the owner of the sign or of the premises where such sign is located, fails to correct such violation within sixty (60) days after notification to make such correction. THE CITY COULD HAVE ALREADY REMOVED MOST IF NOT ALL OF THE BILLBOARDS THAT WERE ‘TRADED’ FOR THE NEW DIGITALS BILLBOARDS.

  4. SCENIC SAN ANTONIO WOULD LIKE THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO TO SUSPEND THE DIGITAL BILLBOARD PILOT PROGRAM UNTIL IT IS DETERMINED THAT CITY STAFF IS CONDUCTING PROPER DUE DILLIGENCE TO ENSURE THE CITIZENS OF SAN ANTONIO ARE GETTING THE TRADE THEY AGREED TO FOUND IN CHAPTER 28 OF THE CITY CODE.
