Bus will take you afterschool to the Rec. • Check responsibilities for this week!!  • Instant Activity: Jog 2x around Animal Mania Rescue Court. Do Dynamic Stretches (Standard 1: Demonstrates competency in many movement forms and proficiency in a few movements.) • Lesson Focus: • Physical Fitness Challenge -7 min/day for 7 days (Standard 2: Applies movement concepts and principles to the learning and development of motor skills) • Bully Groups and project • Standard 5: Demonstrates responsible personal and social behavior in physical activity setting. • Standard 6: Demonstrates understanding and respect for differences among people in physical activity setings.) OCTOBER Physical Activity Challenge This Challenge is October 1st through October 29th Students are challenged to do 60 minutes of physical activity (workouts in PE are posted in following slides) for the month of October. Participation in PE counts. This will foster motivation to exercise daily and earn them the right to participate in the Dress Up event (themes were voted on by students – 6th grade: Duck Dynasty Character; 7th grade: Twin Day) DRESS UP DAY IS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31ST!! Move your body, do some exercises, play a sport, take a walk or run with your family, or just get outside for some fresh air play time at least 25 days out of the month of October!
