Enhancing Safety Awareness with CAKE Q3 Initiatives and Resources

A new safety movie focused on major accident risks will be distributed on a memory stick and is also available for download at hms-kultur.no, designed for the general safety meeting, lasting 2.5 minutes. Additionally, Q3-themed CAKE posters will be displayed on rigs, along with T-shirts featuring slogans from this year's competition, with each rig receiving 230 shirts. The "worst case scenario game" will also be sent out, tailored to department-specific scenarios, involving sticker placements to illustrate silent deviations and their potential consequences on safety.

  2. CAKE in practice : • A new movie will be sent offshore on a memory stick, but can also be downloaded from hms-kultur.no. The movie is for the general safety meeting – major accident risk. The movie last for 2.5 minutes. • New CAKE posters with Q3 theme to display on the rig • T-shirts with slogans from the ”competition” earlier this year will be sent out. 5 different slogans. Each rig gets 230 t-shirts. • As last year, the ”worst case scenario game ” will be sent out. A reminder – it is a department-specific ”worst case scenario”. As a part of the worst case scenario assignment, the crew will place stickers explaining several silent deviations and reasons for not saying stop in different positions in their scenario to see which consequences there will be in the chainreaction towards a major accident. Game rules are included.
