  1. Recording a Voice Narration in Power Point

  2. You will need a computer with • a sound card • a microphone (internal or external) • speakers

  3. On the Outline tab or Slides tab in normal view, select the slide icon or thumbnail on which you want to start the recording.

  4. On the Slide Menu, click Record Narration

  5. Click Set Microphone Level. • Follow the directions to set your microphone level and then click OK.

  6. In the Slide Show View, speak the narrative text into the microphone and click in the slide to advance. Speak the narrative text for that slide, advance to the next slide, and so on.

  7. If you want to pause and resume the narration, right-click on the slide, and on the Shortcut Menu, click Pause Narration or Resume Narration.

  8. Repeat these steps until you’ve come to the end of your slides. • When you come to the black Exit Screen, click and the narration is automatically saved.
