  2. the brand Glasgow based Mexican food chain Pintoworked with ideal cases to increase customer engagement and to promote their brand. Pinto is Scotland’s newest Mexican Street Food dining experience taking the country by storm. They promise fresh, healthy and exciting street food offering their customers burritos, tacos, nachos and much more no microwaves allowed. Having only opened their 1st unit in July 2011, the brand is continuing to expand rapidly in the central belt, with a wide market base including students and white collar workers. Pinto has built up a strong loyal following from day one with many customers dining from Pinto up to 5 times per week making the ability to team up with Ideal Cases to create a promotion very attractive and exciting.

Ideal did this by: • using our in house design team to produce a range of branded designs covering a number of devices • creating a unique discount code which could be used by Pinto customers on the ideal website to get their case at a discounted price on the site • creating sample cases and working with Pinto to approve the designs and to provide imagery to be used in the promotion

  4. the promotion how did the customer get their case? • customers are directed to purchase a Pinto branded phone cover for their phone using a discount code and a web link to the Pinto cases on www.idealcases.com • ideal then send the case out direct to the customer • in addition Pinto purchased wholesale cases to promote in store and on-line in competitions what do Pintocustomers get from the promotion? • a Pinto branded phone cover • their photo with phone cover in Pinto’s “Hall of Fame” on Facebook • 3 FREE meal cards to be redeemed at Pinto • future ongoing monthly/bi-monthly offers especially for Pinto Phone Cover Holders

  5. social media Pinto used social media to drive consumers to take action with their new branded cases. Each customer that purchased a Pinto branded case was then encouraged to: • send an image of themselves with their phone cover to Pinto via email • Pinto then uploaded these photos to their ‘Hall of Fame’ on their Facebook page and the customers were then encouraged to ‘tag’ themselves in these photos • the customer was then sent 3 FREE meal cards to redeem at Pinto at their leisure 3 months after the initial launch Pinto implemented monthly and bi-monthly offers which were available to customers coming in store with the Pinto case on their phone as the uptake was so good.

  6. what did Pinto get from it? Pintowere extremely pleased with the success of the campaign and the uptake has been exceptional. As you can see the results really speak for themselves… • fully engaged and loyal customers that have bought into the brand • incremental revenue – people redeeming their free meals bought drinks, sides and friends to enjoy them with • repeat business – 3 vouchers means 3 visits! • brand advocates – customers went beyond the expected to show their loyalty • walking billboards - FREE and quirky advertising from their loyal customers • word of mouth advertising • social media exposure and viral marketing
