  1. Informations- und Telekommunikation im Güterkraftverkehr

Technologien im Dienste des Kunden „Telematik“ - ein Kurzwort aus Telekommunikation und Informatik - ist ein umfassendes technisches System für Informationsverarbeitung und Datentransport und in allen Bereichen des öffentlichen und privaten Lebens mit Nutzen einsetzbar. Eine Teilaufgabe der Telematik besteht in der Verkehrsmanagement-, Verkehrssteuerungs- und Verkehrsinformationsfunktion.

  3. Mögliche Anwendungsgebiete sind z.B.: • Flottenmanagementsysteme • Ortungs- und Positionierungssysteme (z.B. durch Global-positioning-system (GPS)-Satelliten) • Routenoptimierungssysteme • Fahrerkommunikationssysteme (SMS oder International Roaming GSM) • Verkehrsleitsysteme • Tracking-and-Tracing-Systeme (Statusmeldung und Sendungsverfolgung mittels Barcode)

Transportbörsen Bei den Transportbörsen handelt es sich um Interorganisationssysteme, die durch Einsatz der Informationstechnologie Marktinformationen über Angebote von Fracht- und Laderaum liefern. Hauptziel der kostenpflichtigen Transportbörsen ist der Abbau von Informationsdefiziten, die eine effizientere Nutzung der vorhandenen Transportkapazitäten bzw. Transportraumdisposition verhindern.
