  3. PEIMS • The Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) is a statewide student and staff database supervised by the TEA and composed of data from all public school districts and Charter Schools in Texas with a standard set of reports available on the Internet

  13. CHANCERY CODING • Chancery automatically pulls the contact hours for CTE courses so it is essential that coding is done properly- • Select the correct course • Make sure the teacher is certified • Make sure the course meets the correct amount of time:

  14. CHANCERY CODING Average minutes per day in CTE class: Code V1 45 – 89 Code V2 90 – 149 Code V3 150 - 180+ Average minutes per day must be computed by reviewing a complete cycle of classes. For example, if a class meets on even-numbered days of the month, a two-week cycle must be reviewed.

  15. CHANCERY CODING • Take care when scheduling early release and other special days that sufficient time is spent in CTE courses to result in correct average. • Important CTE students’ schedules are updated and the effective date of any change is actually the date the CTE funding should start
