  4. checkout • Kindergarten = 1 book • 1st – 5th = 2 books • Books are due at the next library time • If you don’t have your book, you will not be able to check out. • Mrs. Carter or I will help you checkout your books

  5. Turning in books • If it is a library day, after announcements your teacher will collect your books. • The books will be brought to the library. • Put a “renew slip” on your book if you’d like to renew it

  6. Holding a book • You may put one book on hold at a time in Destiny. • When the book is ready, you will receive a slip from your teacher or the book will be waiting for you in the library.

  7. Finding a book • Fiction • Non-fiction • Everyone section • Book markers
