Attendance Workup Reminders • Attendance Workup – School/Payroll keys • Payroll operator should key leave according to Attendance Workup following the absence period. • Payroll will only key when a teacher is going off payroll. Your central office payroll associate will contact school when this applies.

  6. Personal Leave Reminders • When to use code 06, 26 and 56 • During student days use 06 in ½ and whole day increments with a substitute. • Key 06 and then key a 56 as a negative in ½ day or whole day increments when substitute is not required or does not show. • Undesignated work days key a 26.

  7. Leave Data Entry • Leave should be keyed daily in TACS and Speed. • Run absence edit report in speed to verify absence and substitute information is correct. • Don’t key more leave then what is needed to bring the employee up to their standard hours.

  8. Hourly Employees • When to key forgiven time. • Superintendent Approves Delay or Early Closing • Key number of hours to bring up to scheduled daily hours. • Do not key LWOP (07)

  9. Over/Under Standard Hours • Run timesheets and verify time worked. • If standard hours fall15 minutes below their regular work schedule without approval, key leave to bring up to scheduled time. • If hours exceed normally scheduled hours and leave was keyed please reduce the leave so CT/OT does not occur. • Time is not reduced when a holiday is within that week.
