  2. 1.be delighted to do sth.做某事很高兴 相当于be glad/ happy/ pleased to do sth. I’m delighted to have such a chance to speak here. delight n.快乐,高兴; v.使…高兴(快乐) 词组链接: to one’s delight(使某人高兴的是); be delighted at/ by由于…而高兴; be delighted with对…很高兴(满意); with delight高兴地 To our delight, he finished the work on time. I was delighted at the thought of seeing you again. She is much delighted with the result.

  3. 2. to have done sth.不定式的完成式(表示该不定的动作先于句子谓语动词发生) I am very pleased to have been invited to your birthday party. He is said to have studied abroad. But I don’t know which country he studied in. 对比 He is said to be studying abroad. But I don’t know which country he is studying in. He is said to study abroad. But I don’t know which country he will study in.
