  9. Power up your MBITR Make sure your ON/OFF switch is on the off position before connecting the battery to the radio.

  11. Once your radio has powered up. Your display screen will display the battery power, the group, channel and the mode in which the radio is currently functioning under.

  12. Press GR on your Key Pad. • By pressing GR on your Key Pad this will bring you to your GROUP MENU.

  13. Select any group you would like to have your frequency under. • There are 10 groups in each radio. • Each group consist of 16 channels • There’s a total of 160 channels.

  14. Comsec Fills • Simultaneously press ALT and MODE on your key pad. • Using your arrow up key, circle Key Fill and press enter. • Circle COMSEC and press enter. • Press your PTT button (Push To Talk) to initiate your fill.

  15. Hand Jamming Settings • Press ALT and Mode at the same time. • Circle program and press enter. • Circle Radio Config and press enter. • Using your arrow keys, circle the Portion that you would like to change on the Radio Config menu. • Once you have circled your selection, press enter.

  16. HAND JAMMING 6. By pressing enter your selection has been highlighted. 7. Using your arrow keys you can now select your desired function. 8. When typing in the frequencies, you must press ALT and one of the arrow keys to shift from right to left.

  17. HAND JAMMING Note: You must enter in your RX: Freq. first before you type in your TX: Freq.
