The ULTRANS partner meeting held in Constanta, Romania on September 5-6, 2013, focused on cold cut systems and addressed key challenges and opportunities in the region. With a population of 19 million across 41 counties, including Bucharest, discussions centered on financing solutions through European funds. Participants explored technical options like the Peugeot Boxer and Toyota Hilux for firefighting units, evaluating the potential for expanding operations in the South East region and Bucharest. Collaboration with local farmers and fire departments was emphasized to enhance community safety.

Future • Good potential. Low national financing.
