Two Year Level One Course MXL1(a) then MXL1(b) • YEAR TWO • In year 12 students (for their second year) they will be doing three level one standards which lead logically into some level two standards… • 91036(Int) – Bivariate Data (3credits) • Leading to 2.8(Int) – Stats Questionnaire (3credits) • 2. 91032(Int) – Trigonometry (3credits) • Leading to 2.4(Int) – Trig Relations (3credits) • 3. 91029(Int) – Linear Algebra (3credits) • Leading to 2.1(Int) – Co-ordinate Geometry (3credits) • That’s a total of 9 Level One credits and 9 Level Two credits potentially in their second year. • n.b. The level of difficulty increases substantively between level one and two papers.

Trip to south island… Sheet of numbers of different countries information – can they find the maths within them. Intro to other countries (geography cross curriculum). Mythbuster programmes are a great source of mathematical/practical lesson bases.
