Emergency Services • Current Issues • ESF-10 • All Florida Ports returned to normal Operations, except Key West, with assessments ongoing • Haz-Mat Response in Monroe County currently at routine level • All Water Facilities (drinking and wastewater) in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties reported operational • Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority reports no operational problems • 5 State Parks in Monroe County were reopened today, eight more expected to reopen by weekend. • ESF-16 • 208 Law enforcement deployed as of 9/22/05 • Law enforcement support through MAC to 3 coastal counties in Mississippi.

Infrastructure • Current Issues • ESF1&3 • Mississippi: • Supporting fueling missions in Task Force Florida area of Ops (AO) in Mississippi • Currently utilizing 12 tankers/tenders to support fuel operations in Mississippi; demob scheduled for 9/28 • Preparing to transition fueling operations over to MEMA/FEMA or terminate • Florida: • Toll Suspensions (see Rita Msg# 90): • South and east bound Florida Turnpike Road and Expressways in Miami-Dade, Broward and southern Palm Beach Counties will be suspended for 9/21 • Both North & South bound Turnpike from Broward/Miami-Dade County line to US 1/Florida City suspended until Friday morning 9/23

Rita response • No major telecom disruptions reported • ESF12 • FUEL • Mississippi: • Fuel vendors, see Katrina Msg# 2799 (Waring Oil Co, Gulfport) • Propane vendors, see Katrina Msg# 2698 (Blossman Gas & Propane Co) • Florida: • US-1 corridor: 100% of the facilities surveyed w/in Monroe County reported having plenty of fuel • I-95 Corridor and FL Turnpike: 88% of facilities surveyed w/in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties reported plenty of fuel. • I-75 Corridor: 100% of facilities surveyed in Collier County – along I-75- reported having plenty of fuel. • Oil Production: As of Sept 21, 70% of daily oil production is shut down in Gulf, due to Hurricane Rita.
