  2. Opening • Luscious hair is a nonprofit organization that helps men and women get their hair from bed head to “luscious hair”.

  3. Current situation • Our current space and staff is very limited. There is very little room for the staff to work on a client. There are also very little staff to host a styling or a makeover. The space and the number of staff poses a number of problems for the organization. • The limited space makes it very hard to work and it is very uncomfortable for the customers. • The staff holds an issue because sometimes there is only one person working and this is a problem on busy days. • During events there can only be a few people because of the space and the limited staff working. • The small space makes the shop very cramped and crowded even when there are only a few people. • Small staff makes it hard to get more work done. So we are usually behind on appointments.

Alternative Action • There are a number of measures that have been addressed to solve this problem. • Commercialize and promote what we are needing: To let people know that we are in need of we could make commercials and posters to show that we need more staff and space. • Hold more fundraisers and events: Holding events and fundraisers will make people want to work here at luscious hair. This might also help people understand how little space that we have, and might make them want to donate so we can have more space. • Remodel the event room: Remodeling will make it so more people will want to attend events and possibly donate more money if they have a good understanding of what they are donating to.

  6. Implementation • With all that I have shown you in the previous reading I think that these will really help Luscious Hair have better business. • 1. Newspapers: For people to know about the expansion I can put and add in the newspapers and I can also post flyers around local businesses. • 2. Commercial ads: Another way for people to know about this is to make commercials and advertise the store.

  7. Evaluation • More staff and space will help this organization a lot in many ways. There will be more clients that will be able to be helped. There will be more room to hold more clients. This will make business better and more people happy with their hair.
