Schedules 5 and 6 • November 11, 2013 – FERC approves BAL-002-WECC-2 • Prior BAA contingency reserve obligation: 5% variable / 7% thermal • New BAA contingency reserve obligation: 3% load / 3% generation • October 1, 2014 – Effective date • Next Steps: • Working with NWPP and other entities on terminology/interpretation • Implementation and testing of system requirements • Moratorium on rates, terms and conditions of Schedules 5 and 6 until a June 1, 2015 effective date at the earliest
