  5. Using the text, translate the following sentences: Gates of hell stolen from Auschwitz death camp By Matt Blake19/12/2009 The Daily Mirror For more than 60 years it has stood as a horrific reminder of the evil Nazi killing machine, but yesterday the infamous sign that marks the entrance to Auschwitz was stolen. The metal work bearing the cynical fascist slogan ArbeitMachtFrei - work makes you free - was wrenched from its holdings in an early morning raid. Police and Jewish groups fear it may have been taken by cynical crooks supplying the shadowy but lucrative trade in Nazi memorabilia where it would be worth a fortune. Polish officials have pledged to do all they can to find the stolen slogan. Furious Auschwitz museum official PawelSawicki said: "This is a terrible thing. NoachFlug, chairman Centre of Organisations of Holocaust Survivors, added: "This is an object that is a symbol of historic value that must be returned immediately." Police said the raid had been "meticulously planned". The thieves evaded CCTV cameras that monitor the entrance.
