  4. Team Rules Summary • Student first, athlete second • Zero tolerance with behavior issues • Practice ends at 5 PM • Effort earns playing time • Unexcused absences are unacceptable!

  8. Pre – Season Camp • Get into shape before August/September • Summer Workouts Are On Your Own: • Informal W orkouts August 27-28 • Tues & Wed 3-5 • Shorts & t-shirt, sneakers& spikes, plenty of liquids • Stretching,speed work & timed mile run • Forms needed to participate in the camp!

Required Forms • Team Rules • Code of Conduct • Family ID Completed Before School Starts • Physical Form (completed & signed by a physician) • Must be completed after June 1st 2019 • Emergency Medical Treatment Form • All Forms are needed before participating in Preseason on Tuesday August 27th.

Practice & Games • No practice over Labor Day Weekend • 1st practice: Monday 9/3 from 2:30 - 5:00 • No Practice on 9/2, 9/30 and 10/9 (No School) • Black practice Pants thigh and knee pads, shoulder pads and helmets Provided by Unami • Compression shorts with the hip pads need to be purchased by the players • Scrimmages start the 4th full week of Sept. • Thursday 9/26 8th grade, 7th? ? • Game Schedule • 8th Grade Usually plays on Thursdays at 3:15 • 7th Grade games start at 3:15 • Schedules to be posted soon!

Concussion and Injuries • Concussions happen, we need to be careful and to err on the side of caution. • Injuries should be brought to the attention of the coaches as soon as they happen. • If you notice your player has a recurring headache or other concussion like symptoms see a Doctor and notify the coaching staff. • If a player is injured in a practice or game and we are aware of it we will refer you to your pediatrician or the emergency room. • Concusion testing will occur in school at a time to be determined closer to the start of the school year!
