History • 1955 – facility built by ADM (commercial fatty acids/esters) • 1959 – site closed by ADM • 1962 –Diamond Shamrock acquired the facility (new product launch pad) • 1986 – Occidental Chemical purchased the site (new product launch pad) • 2001 – facility acquired by private investors, forming Gabriel Performance Products • 2006 – new management team recruited to provide an exit strategy • 2009 – facility sold to Edgewater Capital Partners
