Quantitative Analysis of Tumor Cell Migration in Collagen Layers

This study investigates the behavior of tumor cells in a controlled environment using a monolayer in the upper collagen layer over a 120 μm thickness. By analyzing the migration of these cells through the lower collagen gel layer, we aim to understand the mechanisms driving tumor cell invasiveness. The insights gained from this quantitative analysis can potentially inform therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment, particularly focusing on the role of the extracellular matrix in tumor progression.
